Manuscript Handling Processes

First Control Process

  1. Submissions are reviewed for adherence to the guidelines outlined in the manuscript preparation section.
  2. Articles are checked for conformity with the specified template and scientific rigor.
  3. Descriptive research submissions are evaluated to ensure the inclusion of multiple variables where applicable.
  4. Methodology, data collection, and analysis processes are scrutinized for accuracy and validity.
  5. The manuscript’s potential contribution to international literature is assessed.
  6. A similarity check using Turnitin or iThenticate is performed, with a maximum similarity threshold of 15% and a word exclusion limit of five.
  7. Articles are reviewed for adherence to the IMRAD format (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion) and forwarded to the field editor only if they meet these standards.

Peer-Review Process

  1. Manuscripts are evaluated by at least two PhD-level experts in the field.
  2. Referees have 5 days to accept the review invitation, extendable by an additional 15 days if necessary.
  3. Upon acceptance, referees are given 15 days to complete their review, with a possible extension of 15 days.
  4. Review outcomes include acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection, based on referee feedback.
  5. In cases of conflicting reviews, a third referee may be consulted.
  6. The editor reviews referee comments and disregards any biased or inappropriate feedback.
  7. Authors are required to revise their manuscripts within 15 days, highlighting changes made and providing detailed responses to referee comments.

Publishing Process

  1. Upon acceptance, a publication editor is assigned for a final review.
  2. The language editor conducts a thorough review within 15 days and may request additional proof-reading if necessary.
  3. Authors make final language revisions and confirm the final version of their manuscript.
  4. The editor-in-chief provides final approval before assigning the article to the next available issue.
  5. Accepted articles are published in early view with an assigned DOI. Post-publication changes are not allowed unless significant issues are identified by authors or readers, which are reviewed and corrected as necessary.
