Guide for Authors

All submitted manuscripts must adhere strictly to the 7th edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA 7) (see http://www.apastyle.org/ or owl.purdue.edu). While there is no word count limit for JILT, it is recommended that manuscripts should not exceed 7000 words, excluding references and appendices. Book reviews should be a minimum of 1000 words.

SUBMITTING ARTICLES

All manuscripts must be submitted online through the JILT online submission system. Authors must register on the DergiPark system prior to submission. A manuscript template is available to assist you in formatting your paper. Please insert your content into the template while preserving the provided format and styles. The key components of the paper (title, abstract, keywords, sections, text, etc.) are predefined in the template’s style sheet.

Required Documents for Submission

The following files must be uploaded during the manuscript submission process. Missing documents will result in delays, as the review process cannot commence until all required materials are submitted:

  1. Full Text File (Anonymous)
  2. Copyright Form
  3. Similarity Report
  4. Proofreading Evidence (for non-native English speakers)
    • To upload this document, please select “language editing certificate” under the “upload supplementary files” section during submission.

SIMILARITY REPORT

A similarity report must be submitted along with the manuscript during the submission process.

Proofreading ensures the manuscript is free from grammatical errors. If the corresponding author or authors are not native English speakers, proofreading is mandatory, and evidence of proofreading must be provided at the time of submission.
